LP is pleased to introduce the LP Folding Bar Chimes, an innovation exclusive to Latin Percussion. It represents a significant innovation in the realm of the popular instrument used in so many genres, live and recorded.

The 50-bar chime may be opened up for a traditional straight-across whisk, of hand or beater, for a shimmering glissando. The exclusive and interesting aspect is the hinged design, which permits the chime to be folded into a double-row chime. This allows for additional playing techniques and ringing tonalities!

Special 3/8" hardened aluminum alloy bars produce a ringing, crisp effect and are strung with high-strength braided cord from a finely figured hardwood frame. An adaptor screw enables the LP Folding Bar Chimes to be conveniently attached to an LP Mount-All Percussion Bracket.

The LP Folding Bar Chimes come packaged in a reusable container that will protect chimes, hinges and frame.
