Mapex Drums If you?ve been looking for a reason to get a great set of birch drums, look no further. The M Birch Series from Mapex is the kit for you. Thin birch shells, with a handsome, gloss-laquered exterior maple veneer provide beauty and performance.

Mapex has extended it?s ?6 for 5? special throughout 2006 and added a ?7 for 6? offer, which means no matter which configuration you choose, you?ll get more quality, more value?and more drums?for your money.

Features:
6-ply, 7.2 mm birch shells with maple exterior. Birch shells have a balanced sound with a great tuning range. Eight coat, hand-rubbed lacquer finish allows the maple exterior to show through. The Mapex I.T.S. System allows the shell to vibrate freely, allowing for maximum projection and resonance.
Mapex?s low mass lugs are secured via only one point of penetration resulting in truer tone and unimpeded resonance. All M Birch Kits include a matching birch shell snare drum. All M Birch drums are equipped with Remo drum heads.
M Birch kits come complete with Mapex 550 Series double-braced hardware. The all maple M Birch bass drum hoops are color matched and secured via low profile claw hooks.
