What is the tension tuning system?
Using the wing nut of the cymbal stand, you can tune the Safari ride and crash to sound anywhere from trashy to virtually no decay. The Safari hihat can be tuned to control the amount of trashiness by increasing or decreasing tension of the hihat clutch.

B8 bronze has the highest content of copper which results in a more red-like finish. They are very firm and easily resist hard playing. The sound of cymbals made from B8 bronze is very bright, powerful and has a lot of attack. It easily cuts through loud volumes. The overall sound spectrum shows a dominant share of higher frequencies.

The FX9 cymbal alloy is the most exceptional material used in crafting cymbals, because it combines four components in one alloy with extraordinary tonal characteristics. Cymbals made from FX9 alloy offer new, fresh and lively sounds with an unique and distinctive timbre.

MS63 is a classic brass alloy which, due to its positive sound characteristics, is used in making mainly student range cymbals. It produces a warm and harmonic cymbal sound and offers the best possible sound qualities at an affordable price.
