Meinl Byzance Jazz Sweet Ride

The Meinl Byzance Jazz Sweet Ride cymbals are delicate and sensitive with a sweet feel. They have a soft, acceptable stick response that gradually dissipates at faster tempos due to the cymbal’s wide, spreading wash. The cymbals also respond well to brushes so they give you plenty of room to flex your drumming muscle.

A good all-around cymbal, the 20" Sweet ride produces low to mid overtones and has a lower-pitched bell sound. The 20" Sweet Light ride is lower in pitch than the heavier Sweet ride, with more explosive crashing power, dimmer overtones and a playable bell.

Part of the Meinl Byzance Jazz series and created with personal input from world renowned drummer Wolfgang Haffner, both the Sweet and the Sweet Light rides are handcrafted in Turkey of durable B20 bronze alloy. The dimpled, hand-hammered detail that helps the cymbals speak with brighter, more penetrating tones with an extensive range.
